Help buyers find accurate warranty information by writing clear, specific descriptions. Follow these best practices to ensure your warranties are properly extracted and displayed.

Key Points for Clear Warranty Descriptions

Do: Be specific about this vehicle

  • "This vehicle includes a 2 year manufacturer warranty"

  • "This car comes with a 12 month dealer warranty"

  • "BMW Approved Used with 3 year warranty included in price"

Don't: Use generic templates

  • "Welcome to ABC Motors! All our cars come with warranty..."

  • "Every vehicle we sell includes comprehensive warranty..."

  • "All our Audi Approved cars come with 2 year warranty as standard"

Do: Use clear warranty provider names

For manufacturer programs, use full names:

  • "Includes 2 year Dealer Warranty"

  • "Includes 1 year AA Warranty"

  • "Comes with 5 year Kia Manufacturer Warranty"

  • "CarSimple 2 year warranty provided"

Don't: Leave warranty provider ambiguous

  • "Includes 2 year warranty"

  • "Dealer or manufacturer warranty available"

  • "Dealer or 3rd party warranty options"

  • "Comes with warranty"

Do: Specify exact durations

Use clear time periods:

  • "3 month warranty"

  • "12 months warranty" or "1 year warranty"

  • "24 month warranty" or "2 year warranty"

Don't: Leave duration ambiguous

  • "Up to 3 years warranty depending on age"

Don't: Leave warranty costs ambiguous

  • "Warranty available"

  • "Choice of 6 or 12 month warranty"

  • "Can include warranty"
